Hello Parents

Our daughter was born at 28 weeks, and for a long time her care lived in a carry bag of papers and our tired heads.

siya is the quiet companion we wished we'd had, on WhatsApp. It holds your child's whole story, gets you ready for every doctor, and helps the home program actually happen, so more of the day is left for your child.

siya keeps the record. It doesn't diagnose or give medical advice.

For a long time, her care lived in a carry bag of papers and our tired heads.

When the next doctor asks for the history, you hand them one page instead of a folder.

Every new door

One page instead of a folder

In our daughter's first nineteen months we sat in 19 clinics. At every new door we told her story from the start, and every time something got left out.

Visit briefs

Before each visit, a one-page brief:

  • What's changed
  • What you wanted to ask
  • What's still waiting

Every line points back to the record it came from.

What siya does for you

Helps you see how far they've come

Each of you answers the same milestone questions on your own, and siya shows where you agree and where you see it differently. Therapy videos, filmed from the same angle, sit side by side a month apart, so you can see the change that's hard to notice day to day.

Home program

The home program, one day at a time

An hour with the therapist, then the rest of the week at home. siya turns the plan into today, and keeps count of how it went.

  1. 1

    Your therapist sends the plan

Your child's therapist sends the home program through siya. You choose what they can see.

  2. 2

    Three things to do today

The therapist's plan becomes three things to do today, sent to you on WhatsApp.

  3. 3

A short check in the evening

How it went, so the next session starts from what actually happened at home. The therapist sees how practice went during the week.

Milestone check-ins

Two views, one child

One of you sees your child at bath time, the other at the 7 am exercises. You'll notice different things, and neither of you is wrong. It helps to talk about it at home, before the doctor asks.

  1. 1

    Each of you answers alone

The same questions about sitting, reaching, seeing, sounds and feeding, on your own phone. Grandparents too, if you invite them.

  2. 2

    Nobody sees the others first

Answers stay hidden until you've given yours, so nobody nudges anybody.

  3. 3

    siya shows where you differ

Where you agree, and where you don't, side by side. It never decides who's right. The differences go into the next doctor's brief.

Getting started

Starting is small

  1. 01

    Join the waitlist

We're letting families in a few at a time, and we read every note ourselves. We'll email you when there's a place.

  2. 02

    Add what you already have

Photos of prescriptions, discharge summaries, EEG reports, a folder from Drive. Any order works, and messy is fine. One report is enough for the first day.

  3. 03

Walk into the next visit ready

siya files each one by its date. When the next doctor asks for the history, you hand them one page instead of a folder.

Why we built it

In our daughter's first nineteen months we sat in 19 clinics. At every new door we told her story from the start, and every time something got left out.

We also watched her follow a small light with her eyes for the very first time.

siya is built for both of those days.

We're opening slowly, a few families at a time, starting in Delhi NCR. Tell us a little about your child and we'll write when there's a place for you. We read every one.

Indian numbers can skip +91. We'll only use it to reach you on WhatsApp when your place is ready.
Their age, a diagnosis if there is one, and what's hardest right now. A few sentences is plenty. Only the two parents who made siya read this.

For therapists and centres

Send the home program home

You know which families find the home program hardest between sessions. With siya you send it home, and see how practice went during the week, before the family walks back in. If you'd like to use it with your families, write to us.

Questions

Things parents ask us

What does it cost?

Nothing while we're small. If that ever changes, you'll hear it from us well before, and you can always download everything you've saved.

Where can I use it?

The record, briefs and check-ins work anywhere in India. Find a therapist and the Playground circles start with Delhi NCR.

Is it on WhatsApp?

Yes. Once you're in, you can send siya photos and questions on WhatsApp, or use the app in your phone's browser.

Who can see my child's record?

Only the people you add to your family in siya. Everyone you add sees the whole record, so add the people who share the care. siya doesn't send it to doctors, therapists or anyone else. You choose what to share, like a brief or the emergency card.

Does siya give medical advice?

No. siya keeps the record. It doesn't diagnose or give medical advice. Questions about treatment belong with your child's doctors. siya makes sure you remember to ask them.

Can I leave and take everything with me?

Yes, always. It's your child's story. Account has a button to download the whole record as a ZIP, and another to delete everything.
